What are Bimetallic injection screws ?

Barrelize Bimetallic injection screws are made of two alloy metals. The first metal is the base material and the second metal is the coating material. So the bimetallic injection screws have better corrosion and abrasion resistance,more durable, and last longer than non-bimetallic ones.

How to make the bimetallic injection screw with two metals ?

Barrelize use PTA welding machines to spray and weld the special ni-based alloy powders on the screw's ridge, which greatly provide high surfacing bonding strength, and improve the resistance of the bimetallic injection screw.

What's the specification of Barrelize Bimetallic injection screws ?

For the first base material, you can choose 38CrMoALA and 42CrMo. The second metal is ni-based alloy usually. Barrelize can make the thickness of bimetallic layer: 1.5-2mm. The hardness can reach HRC53-HRC56.

The general advantage of Barrelize bimetallic injection screws: high corrosion resistance, high wear resistance, and high temperature resistance, more durable, longer lifetime.
