What is Concial Twin Barrels for Extrusion ?

Conical Twin Barrel is the matching barrel for twin screws which have two intermeshing identical screws.They work together to convey, compact, melt, stir and press the plastic.Compared to a single barrel, the Conical twin barrel have two barrels, therefore it has offers more process fexibility and has better mixing capability.

How to make the Conical Twin Barrels with bimetallic treatment ?

Bimetallic concial twin barrels are made of two alloys metals. First metal is base material and second metal is coating material.

Barrelize use advanced gas furnace to centrifugally cast the lining alloy on the inner surface of the barrel, which greatly provide high surfacing bonding strength, and improve the resistance.

What 's the specification of Barrelize Bimetallic Conical Twin Barrels?

For the first base material, you can choose 38CrMoALA and 42CrMo. For the second metal, Barrelize can offfer you iron-based alloy, nickel-based alloy,tungsten carbided alloy. Barrelize can make the thickness of bimetallic layer : 1.5-2mm.The hardness of iron-based bimetallic extrusion barrel can reach HRC60.

The general advantage of Barrelize Bimetallic Conical Twin Barrels: corrosion resistance and wear resistance,improve the strength resistance to the fatigue,finally improve the usetime.
