Injection speed calculation method

The first method to calculate the injection speed:
1. The maximum injection rate value is M (g/s), the maximum injection volume W is (g), and the maximum screw measurement stroke L is (mm), then the maximum injection speed V=L*M/W.
2 After the maximum injection speed is calculated, the input value on the screen is a percentage, such as 45 in the above file, then the maximum injection speed*45% is the actual injection speed of the first stage.


The second method to calculate the injection speed:
The first stage injection distance divided by the actual filling time, from the swing of the hydraulic gauge pointer (because the pointer will jump when the pressure of the first and second stages changes), use a stopwatch to measure the actual filling time of the first stage.
Calculation method for multi-stage injection molding:
T1+T2=T
A1: Percentage of the first stage data
A2: Percentage of the second stage data
S1=S*A1
S2=S*A2
L1/(S*A1)+L2/(S*A2)=T
Each machine can calculate the highest injection speed S

Each model of injection molding machine has different rated speeds according to the screw diameter and pressure. Speed ​​means the amount of position the screw moves per unit time. The unit is CM3/S (cubic centimeters per second). But the percentage is displayed on the computer control panel of the injection molding machine. There is a maximum speed (rated) in the machine manual, and this speed is 100%. For example: 90T injection molding machine, screw diameter 28mm, its maximum speed is 86cm3/s, if the parameter setting is 90, then it is 86cm3/s multiplied by 90%, which is the actual injection speed.
