How to install Conical twin-barrel screw

The installation of conical twin-barrel screws is a complex and delicate process that requires certain steps and precautions. The following is a detailed summary of the installation of conical twin-barrel screws:

1. Preparation before installation
Check the components: Before installation, carefully check whether the various components of the conical twin-barrel screws are intact, including the barrel, screw, transmission device, motor, etc. At the same time, check whether the model and specifications of the equipment are consistent with the design requirements.
Prepare tools: Prepare the tools required for installation, such as wrenches, screwdrivers, jacks, levels, dial indicators, copper crowbars, knife-edge rulers, etc.
Prepare materials: Prepare the materials required for installation, such as anchor bolts, gaskets (copper gaskets, etc.), sealants, etc.
Determine the location: Determine the installation location of the conical twin-barrel screw according to the production process requirements and the size, weight and other factors of the equipment. The installation location should be selected on a solid and flat ground, and ensure that there is enough operating space and maintenance space around the equipment.
2. Installation steps
Placement and preliminary adjustment:
After installing the front and rear supports on the barrel, place them on the main frame together with the conical double barrel screw, without installing the locking nut first.
Shake the manual crank handle of the front support to move the barrel toward the distribution box, check whether the barrel stop and the lip of the distribution box are at the same horizontal height, and preliminarily judge whether the barrel has reached the processing accuracy.
Adjustment of spline parallelism:
Remove the spline sleeve of the distribution shaft in the distribution box.
Use a knife-edge ruler to measure whether the spline of the handle of the conical double barrel screw is parallel to the spline of the distribution shaft (front and back, left and right).
Add or remove copper gaskets at the front and rear supports of the barrel, and adjust the spline shaft to the same horizontal position.
Installation and fixing:
Installate the spline of the conical double barrel screw into the spline sleeve of the distribution shaft of the distribution box, manually turn the motor to rotate the angle, then remove the spline sleeve, and repeat the measurement steps until any angle is at the same horizontal position (controlled within the error range of 0.05mm).
Installate the top shaft of the conical double barrel screw into the screw (without gasket).
Install the conical twin-barrel screw spline into the distribution shaft spline sleeve of the distribution box again, push the conical twin-barrel screw toward the distribution box with the screw top plate, and then remove the screw top plate.
Gap measurement and adjustment:
Use a dial indicator to measure the screw gap. Place the dial indicator on the small end of the barrel, place the probe head on the head of a conical twin-barrel screw, and adjust the gauge position.
Use a copper crowbar to hold the right screw at the feed port, keep the end face of the screw top shaft in contact with the end face of the distribution shaft, and fix it.
Use a copper crowbar to push the left screw toward the machine head until it can move, and read the value on the dial indicator.
Repeat the above steps to measure the screw gap at different positions and make necessary adjustments.
Final inspection and fixation:
Check whether the electrical connection and water pipe connection of the conical twin-barrel screw are firm to ensure the safe operation of the equipment.
Use anchor bolts to fix the equipment on the foundation, and tighten the anchor bolts to ensure the stability of the equipment.
